Pond and Pondless Waterfall Maintenance

Clean Skimmer regularly.  Remove net and clear out debris. Keep pond at full water level.
 
New Ponds and Spring Start Up:
Add recommended dosage of Hydro-Topia™ Dry Bacteria every day for two weeks or as directed on bottle.

Regular Maintenance:
For ponds with little or no green string algae, continue to use Hydo-Topia™ Dry Bacteria as recommended on bottle once a week to once a month depending on clarity of the water.

Regular Maintenance for Excessive String Algae:
With excess string algae continue to use Hydro-Topia™ to control water clarity and begin to use Eco-Buster™ to break down the cell structure of the string algae.   Follow bottle instructions once a week to once a month.

Note:  Eco-Buster™ will only maintain string algae.  It will not knock back the string algae.

Knock Back String Algae:
Use Eco-Vescence™ once or twice a month as directed on the bottle to knock back string algae.  Then follow up with the maintenance product Eco-Buster™

Knock Back String Algae:
Use Eco-Vescence™ as directed on the bottle to knock back string algae.  Then follow up with the maintenance product Eco-Buster™.

Regular Maintenance for Excessive String Algae:
EcoBuster™ can be used as directed on a regular basis (weekly to monthly) to maintain string algae.  It will not knock back string algae.  Use Eco-Vescence™ as a step one and then follow up with the maintainer. 

Other Maintenance for Ponds or Pondless Waterfalls
Active-Carbon can be used to clear tea colored or coffee colored water.
EcoFoam Away™ will reduce foam in the water.
Barley will produce peroxide and can be helpful at reducing string algae.
