16th Annual Purely Ponds
Parade of Ponds & Waterfalls

The 16th Annual Purely Ponds Parade of Ponds & Waterfalls charity tour was a great success!  It was held Saturday and Sunday June 25th and 26th, 2022.  Even though it rained on our parade, the community came out to show their support and didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits or keep them from touring the spectacular water gardens on display.  We welcomed the moisture and sported our raincoats in the cold, wet, April-like weather for viewing these wonderful water feature tour stops.  Luckily, a few happy rays of sunshine flickered through the clouds.  The parade route consisted of 14 stops throughout Colorado Springs and Monument.  Ponds of various sizes and shapes were showcased along with trendy pondless waterfalls, streams, and spring fountains.  These ecologically balanced waterscapes offered an experience in tranquility and soothing sounds of the water with a peaceful panorama of the naturalistic water gardens.

The Parade of Ponds was held in honor of the local charity for our youth, Boys & Girls Club of the Pikes Peak Region.  Tickets were sold for $5 each with a matching donation from Purely Ponds.  We generated and proudly donated $2,500 this year to this great charity.

Thank you to all who supported and participated in the 16th Annual Purely Ponds Parade of Ponds to make this year another successful charity event.  Please make plans to attend the Parade of Ponds again next year on the last weekend in June.

Water features are today’s hottest trend in landscaping. This is a great chance for our water feature owners and serious water gardeners to share their piece of paradise with the public. In addition, this is an excellent community event and an opportune time to show our support of the local Boys & Girls Club.
